MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Frederik S. Lysgaard Vind  |  Lead Facilitator – Organisational Development

Expert in scaling startups and leadership development. Has coached 50+

founders and led 40+ workshops across the Nordics.

“Small, thoughtful changes in how you hire, onboard and lead can make a big difference.”

Could you briefly describe your organization and the work you do?

I work at ADC Consulting as Nordic Head of Operations where I work on strategy execution, internal processes and People & Culture. Over the last decade I’ve I worked with recruitment and Leadership development in startups and have invested in and actively supported more than 15 startups and founded three (with mixed but very educational success). My core focus has always been on people and culture, how to build teams, leadership, and structures that can handle real growth. In this program, I bring the founder, investor and operator perspective on how to scale recruitment and people's practices without losing the soul of the company.

What is the main focus of your work today?

My work centers on strategy execution, practical leadership, creating transparency, and scalable operating systems. I focus on how recruitment, culture, development, and simple structures can enable growth.

Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I’m an Operations nerd, former founder and earlystage startup investor with a master’s in business administration and human resource management. I work with a people-centric mindset, and I care most about how teams actually work together when things start moving fast.

What are you most looking forward to during the project?

I’m looking forward to honest conversations with founders about what is actually hard: first key hires, changing your own role, and building basic structure without killing the startup spirit. Seeing founders get a bit more clarity and confidence around these topics is what motivates me.

What do you think makes the programme unique?

The program focuses on a very real pain point: growing recruitment and people practices in founderled companies. It combines concrete tools with advice from people who have been in the middle of hiring mistakes, difficult growth phases, and board discussions, not just theory.

What would you say to a founder who is unsure whether to join?

If you feel that “people topics” and hiring are important but hard to prioritise, this is exactly for you. You’ll get a chance to work on your own situation with support, instead of trying to fix it alone at 22:00 after a long day.

What do you bring to the programme?

I bring a mix of founder, investor and peopleleader experience and currently operate across the Nordic countries. I’ve seen what happens when recruitment, leadership, and culture are treated as an afterthought and when they are taken seriously early. My role is to translate that into simple, usable practices for busy founders.

What kind of companies would you especially like to see join the programme?

Founderled startups and scaleups that are starting to hire beyond the original team. Especially those who feel they are “building the plane while flying it” and want to avoid classic mistakes in recruitment, role definitions and leadership as they grow.

Is there anything else you would like to share with founders considering the programme?

You don’t need to aim for perfection. Small, thoughtful changes in how you hire, onboard and lead can make a big difference. My aim is to help you find those 2–3 moves that fit your reality and can reduce future headaches.
