From the Danish Region Zealand - Erhvervshus Sjælland is building bridges through the new ÖKS collaboration Skills 2 Grow!
Erhvervshus Sjælland supports more than 2,000 startups and SMEs annually – strengthening their competitiveness, growth potential and access to networks and funding opportunities. With extensive experience in EU-funded initiatives, the organisation now also serves as Lead Partner in the Interreg project Skills 2 Grow, helping startups build stronger teams and recruit talent across borders.

Leading and developing the program together
Within Skills 2 Grow, the team from Erhvervshus Sjælland collaborates closely with the participating partners, contributing strong project leadership, structured coordination, and extensive advisory experience. Through hands-on coaching and close dialogue with participating startups, the team helps ensure both strategic direction and practical implementation throughout the program.
Erhvervshus Sjælland´s key focus is strengthening startups and SMEs while enabling sustainable growth and innovation in Region Zealand, Denmark. This is done through strategic business development, competence building, and access to networks and funding.
Opening access to a larger Nordic talent pool
Skills to Grow adds a new dimension to this work. This new program provides startups with practical tools and skills to attract and retain talent, while also opening the door to a much larger talent pool across Denmark, Sweden and Norway. This means that startups in Zealand do not have to look only locally when they need new competences – they can reach out across the Nordic region.

A program built on practical support
According to EHSJ- team is the most unique element of Skills to Grow the combination of competence development, individual business coaching - and concrete cross-border matchmaking. The program moves beyond theory and aims to support startups in taking real steps toward international recruitment and stronger team building for startups.

An invitation to ambitious startups
Erhvervshus Sjælland invites ambitious startups and early-stage growth companies in Region Zealand that are planning to hire or scale their teams. Companies seeking specialized competences or considering cross-border recruitment will particularly benefit from participating in Skills to Grow.
