From Gothenburg Sweden - Drivhuset is building bridges through the new ÖKS collaboration Skills 2 Grow!
As a part of a larger Nordic ecosystem, Drivhuset supports entrepreneurs and startups at all stages – but with their heart in the early phases. Every day they work with founders who are building something from scratch, helping them navigate everything from business development and entrepreneurship to growth and sustainability.
– “We believe deeply that entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful tools for regional development. Skills to Grow is a natural fit for us – it sits right at the intersection of startups and talent”, says Sofia Magnusson.

Creating bridges between talent and startups across borders
Sofia is the Swedish project lead for Skills 2 Grow. Her background is in digital strategy and AI – and she spends most of her time coaching founders through the messy, exciting early stages of building a company.
–“I´m honestly excited to see what happens when startups from Sweden, Norway, and Denmark actually start recruiting across borders. There’s so much untapped talent in this region – and so many founders who don’t realize it’s even possible. I’m looking forward to being part of what changes that”, she adds.
Leading the training for sustainable growth
With extensive experience as coaches and deep understanding of what early-stage founders actually need, Drivhuset is the lead of Work Package 3, which focuses on skills development. This entails designing and delivering training for startups on cross-border recruitment and retention – and making sure it’s practical, not just theoretical.
The team at Drivhuset brings hands-on experience across business development, entrepreneurship, and organizational growth. They also run EU-funded cross-border projects, because they believe the best opportunities for startups often lie just across a border they haven’t crossed yet. Meet the Skills 2 Grow-Partners
“If you want to grow your team, this program gives you the foundation to do it right – understanding how successful recruitment actually works, reducing the risk of costly mis-hires, and discovering that the right person for your role might be living just across a border you haven’t considered”, says Victoria Lines, co-lead Skills 2 Grow.
The Skills 2 Grow-program provides startups with the foundation to recruit beyond borders – and working across the Nordic region, Drivhuset has learned that the barriers of cross-border collaboration often exists in our heads.
–”Skills 2 Grow exists to remove exactly those barriers. I’m proud to be part of making that happen”, says Sofia, and concludes:
”We would like to invite Startups across Sweden that are ready to hire- or about to be. Companies where the founder has already said `we need more people´ but hasn’t quite figured out where to find them. Whatever the industry – if you’re growth-minded and open to new thinking, this program is for you!”
The applications open April 22 !
